Big news that I apparently missed somehow! Mitt Romney dropped out of the race Thursday night. He didn’t endorse anyone, but he of course was trying to make his case for a VP bid. We’ll see what happens. McCain and Huckabee are the two main candidates for the Republicans now.
A few primaries today. The Louisiana primary was today, and there were Democratic caucuses in Nebraska and Washington, and Republican caucuses in Washington and Kansas. The Washington and Nebraska Democratic caucuses have been called for Obama, and the Kansas Republican caucus has been called for Huckabee. Still waiting for the Republican results for Washington. Results are just starting to come in from Louisiana; with 0% reporting Obama and McCain are in the lead. VERY early, though, so this doesn’t mean anything really.
