  • Wow, this book is great!  It really sounds like something I could have written.  I have to force myself to put it down!  It sounds like the author is a former Christian, just like myself, who became disenfranchised by his faith, just like myself.  Now he is an agnostic, asking many of the same questions I am.  A great read!

  • Sweet!  Thanks for the input… I actually agree with the point of view we shouldn’t be so quick to judge.  I was mostly thinking about the people who had the conscious choice and knew the consequences of their actions.

I do actually know about Dissociative Identity Disorder a little bit and that it is caused by severe trauma.  There are some cases where people had an entirely different life they didn’t even know about where they did things they wouldn’t have done in their normal lives.

How have things been going for you??  I really enjoy the Navy and San Diego is freakin’ sweet!!  Wish you could come see the beaches and the ladies!!! :)   Lots to do out here.  Where you working at now??

Hope you find the path to enlightenment (meaning, I hope you come to terms with this struggle in your life with God.)  I know you’ve been bouncing around a lot and I’ve just been keeping you in thought and hoping that you will come to a complete conclusion of where you stand.

It’s gotta be hard having family not accepting you for who you are.  I have a brother that doesn’t believe, he’s the only one who doesn’t of all of us boys but we all still love him and treat him just like we would if he believed.  Not saying that to upset you just pointing out that I think it is unfair and you should be accepted for who you are not what you believe.  I still love you like a brother and a very good friend.

I might be going home around my birthday (in Feb,)  maybe I could actually head down to Springfield and visit you.  I’m planning to go that way should I go home anyhow.  But I think it would be awesome to chill with you for a couple of hours or whatever you think you could do.

Anyhow, if you think it’s possible you can let me know.  I will keep you informed as to whether or not I will be able to go home and when.
